Under the guidance of Jose Venancio Lopez, the Kazakhstan futsal team serves as a good sparring partner. Coached by Brazilian Kaka, the Uzbekistan team has achieved success in Asian and European futsal championships. The Kazakh players held the lead during the match in Taraz but missed out on a victory just a minute before the final whistle.
In the starting lineup for Uzbekistan were Ihtier Ropiev, Ilkhomjon Khamroev, Husniddin Nishonov, and Elbek Tulkonov, with Ravshan Eligboev in goal. The match saw swift goals from both teams, with the Uzbek goalkeeper making impressive saves and the players showcasing skillful plays.
Looking ahead, Kazakhstan will compete in the Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan in the fall of 2024.
